Am looking for a good cms script for a hardware news/reviews site.

it's personal preference/functionality, shouldn't matter what the subject matter is.

I use Xoops, it's simple, fast and reliable. The modules are easy to adapt.

One you code yourself ;) In reality though, Xoops is great.

I managed to code a small one, but something as big as Xoops is impossible to code without a great team :-)

BTW my small thing is almost translated and will be available soon.

Some I can think of: Mambo, PhpNuke, PostNuke, Drupal, e107, Xoops, Enigma ... My idea .. go to Hotscripts for instace browse to php>scripts and programs>Content management system and look for the Free ones. Afterwars Install some of them on a local server and test them. Opensourcecms is indeed a good idea, but there are CMS that they don't yet offer for testing. A local server is a good idea and you can play a bit with it this way. That's what I use for my sites since I don't want to upload a mod until I know it's functional. Saves the shame :D

Consider also Xaraya besides all those CMSs mentioned above.
