good luck with your forum, but I suggest investing in vbulletin soon so that in case you do get busy later on you don't have any worries about transferring over yabb stuff......and plus I don't like yabb that much ;)

the only problem with moving now is that we will lose all of our posts and members which we are reluctant to do, i do prefer v bulletin myself tho

If the decision to move to vbulletin will prevent future problems later, I suggest you go for it. Just tell the members that they will need to register again.

You might lose something out of the original posts, but hey, the posts will soon grow and the stability of a forum is more important.

You should be able to keep the mysql data and use it for the vbulletin forum.

Yes they have an import tool for lots of boards!
