Some registrars work in batches...it just takes longer...I waited nearly six months for a domain once...it was HORRIBLE...I understand!
It's not NameZero's fault, the Registrar determines the drop timetable, not the former registrant....Unless your domain clearly says Regisrar is NameZero, I think you confused Registrant (he who registered) Registrar (he who registered the registrant), my NameZero domain was with NetSol...and they usually aren't the most helpful explaining thier ways.
<ooops...didn't read every word first time>
Good Luck ;-)

I've been waiting for 11 months for my domain to expire from NameZero.
They actually registered my full legal name and wont give it back. They said somebody else with the same name and location registered it (small world it must be because no one else in my state has the same name i do)

You might wanna buy a snapnames credit for $69 and you have a big chance you'll immediately get it when it comes available....
It can take ages before they release a domain name
As byron29 said, its not up to Namezero, but Netsol. Some registrar's hold domains for years. Like NSI has been known to sell valued expired domains on auctions. They sometimes hold domains for 2 years or even more! All you can do is monitor the domain, or use a service like Snapnames and let them watch the domain for you.

Imran,
namezero is very unpredictable in their releases of expired domains. I am still receiving emails from them to renew a domain that I had registered for free for a year and when it expired they took control of it. They must think my domain is worth something :) I keep emailing them back asking to stop sending me spam LOL

It isn't just up to netsol. Namezero as a matter of course reregisters names that were not renewed through them hoping that they can sell them to the original "owner". Then if that fails they try to sell them on the open market. They got stuck with one of my domain names that no one else in the world would ever want. But they didn't release it and I think it's still in their grubby little paws.
I think Namezero is a very very bad company. :o

As timechange said, Namezero just grabs and holds...and, if you ever make an offer to purchase one of those, then read their terms, you will regret any involvement. Simply said, nothing they have is worth the bother to me.
