Hi,
I need help trying to find a UK 'bureau service' that will accept credit card payments on my behalf.
I know of WorldPay although I don't like them much.
Basically any UK solution that doesn't need a Merchant Account would be great.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Regards,
Robert Kerry

Hello
The only other one seems to be Netbanx:

It is really a Worldpay clone.

What do you not like about Worldpay?
I use them and find their monthly billing system to be very useful, especially as they alert me when a payment fails - I don't have to track them myself.

Im currently in the same situation, trying to find the cheapest but safest and most automated way for accepting credit cards online.
Ive Found 3 people that im cosidering using
http://www.worldpay.com - Dont really like them, goes very complicated for something that i want simple.
http://www.secpay.co.uk - I like these people, nice to talk to, got through 1st time, helping me out a great deal with questions. Has almost all the advantages of worldpay.
http://www.authoriseonline.com - Very cheap rates and lowish setup fee, again very prompt in answering questions and very easy to setup.

However i have come over a problem, not with the setup of all of these credit card people but with banks.
Since im starting out with a new company - only have done abit free lance web designing in the past.. they have a huge setup fee for setting up a merchant account. Barclays quoted me £250. Just for the setup, the rates are not that bad however. Anyone know of a cheaper Bank? heh.

Cheers

Barclays quoted you £250 setup? As far as I remember we paid £125 setup feee for Barclays ePDQ service that uses CyberCash, another alternative is to try NatWest - they use WorldPay but you have a choice, let worldpay handle everything or let world pay capture cards and NatWest process them (I prefer the later).

KDA
How much did that cost though?
For worldpay and natwest?
I mean im just starting out in business and as you probly will know, funds are tight.

Cheers
