does this require a one year contract to get that pricing, or do you waive that for WHT users?

porcupine,

Looking to become one of our resellers? ;)

Monthly and Quarterly billing requires a 6 month contract

Thats for me to know, and you to find out i suppose eh? I just was checking around other vendors sites for muse and noticed that it indicated the pricing for that package (the xp1700) required a 1 year commitment, otherwise it was $170/mo ($60 difference), so just thought i'd ask :). Also, you're a division of awebhosting, but dang, their prices are horrid, how do you guys handle upgrades? awebhosting wants like $50/mo for a hdd, etc. :D

Yes, we are a division of Awebhosting, Inc.

But if you look, Awebhosting, Inc. uses UUNet, etc.
You can't compare UUNet and Cogent.
They are like Apples and Oranges.

As you know this market, those prices are not "horrid", but normal for using regular Tier 1's.

And acutually lower then the compition which uses the same quality lines.

BTW Do you have your company online yet?
Last post I think I saw from you, I think it mentioned May 1st, 2002 that you where telling people there server would be online.

Ahh, yes, i was saying their prices are horrid in comparison to yours considering you're a division of the same company, but thats no worry i suppose, that was a compliment.

No, unfortunatly we're not fully established online yet, we've been running hurdles with Insurance, and a few select bad parts (i can't believe the nerve of one vendor, they sent us 9gb of bad RAM, and when i asked for a replacement, it turns out they never stocked the type we asked for (low density bi-8), how rude eh?). We estimated server online date to be the 7th, looks like that might be pushed back as much as a week due to some nasty little setbacks, but we're doing everything possible to keep the pace up :).

porcupine,

We are going to be starting another division that just sells hardware [Going back to our roots :)] - ServerOutsource.COM

It is not fully online, it's actually barely an under construction page.

If you are interested, and since your offering is close to ours, if you are interested, maybe you could PM us and we could work together.

Sounds interesting, but i don't think you'd like me much as a customer, i have a tendancy to go on pricewatch, get the best price, or haggle someone down to the best, which kills most peoples commission pretty much, or makes them hit near break even, so i wouldn't impose myself on anyone i knew, cuz i know i can be a b**ch when i need to be :).
