Hello all,
Encore Web Forum v1.22 has just been released, with optimised code increasing runtime performance by up to 85% for some processes. The new version has consolidated Encore's features into an even more robust message board system.
Currently, we are also looking at getting as much feedback as possible about the product. While we have received very positive feedback from our current customers, we are looking at getting some feedback from prospective customers as well, and those customers who have chosen other forum systems.
I know many of you use bulletin boards on your site already, and those who don't, we believe you would be interested in Encore Web Forum.
Encore is written in perl and is mod_perl compatible if you want the extra speed. With a Java install, design wizards and a slick admin system, it is also very easy to set up and use.
We're ask that you consider downloading the trial and telling us what you think. You don't have to intend using the software for a live forum, we'd be grateful if you just installed it on your own system and had a quick flick through it's features. Then, if you could just e-mail us your comments and suggestions, or make a post in our community forum (preferably not here - although I don't mind, I don't think the moderators would be happy!). It is easy to install, but if you do have any trouble you can contact me and I'll help you out.
Encore Web Forum's home page is at http://www.aborior.com/products/encore/index.shtml, and you can find all of its specifications and documentation there, along with the community forum. If you'd rather head straight for the trial download, just click through to http://www.aborior.com/products/encore/software/trial.shtml.
Thanks in advance for your feedback, it is very much appreciated.
