Ive seen posts similiar to this before but none answered my specific question
Domain reselling, could someone suggest a place that its
transparent to the user that i am simply a reseller..(OpenSRS is a option,
however im unsure as to if you pay that $250 for the first time or monthly)"
thanks

There is no ways to hide your domain registrar from your customers as in whois database there always have some texts refering back to your domain registrar such as: whois server, registrar url. Then if your customers want to know who is really their domain registrar they can whois their domain and everything is clear to them

As stated above no place is transparent as a simple whois result will show who you are reselling for. There is nothing wrong with reselling for a great company like openSRS. Also, openSRS requires a payment of $250 minimum to setup an account with them, but this is not a monthly or recurring fee. The $250 is put towards the registration of domain names, so you can register 25 domains as each domain costs $10.00 with openSRS.

Exactly, you just "recharge" your account when it's running low. You can set it up to e-mail you when you get below a certain amount; I have it alert me when I'm below $100, then I send them an other chunck of money. Be aware though that a $250 start up costs means you have to install and run their API on your server. If you just want to register names "by hand" your start up cost is going to be $500 (technically that's the rule, although I don't know if they enforce it).

Yes.. Also you don't have to use their API. You can see how I integrate OpenSRS on my site.. With a fair knowledge of perl & php I'm able to add other features to my domain registrations such as:
Domain/IP Forwarding
Email Forwarding
Customizable one page template
Default contact/nameserver profiles.. etc..
