View Full Version : Integration
neonlexx 04-03-2002, 12:15 AM Im working on my own web hosting company as we speak and im going with auto control pro for my raq since it seems easy enuff to implement...my questions are as fallows..
1. Ive been looking at places to do billing with, however none that i have found offer transparent transactions (the client/user never leaves my site)
thanks
vSector 04-03-2002, 02:01 AM try hostcharge.com
You can set your site up so the client does not see any third party billing pages. It's basically a virtual terminal with added features like recurring payments, etc. Hostcharge.com is specially designed for web hosting companies such as what you are creating.
Good Luck! :)
neonlexx 04-03-2002, 07:41 AM i was under the impression they didnt offer real-time transaction processing....
vSector 04-03-2002, 07:50 AM your correct, they dont offer real-time transactions. But who really needs that when you know the client will be there for a month at least(if they are legit).
Its up to you though...
neonlexx 04-03-2002, 08:12 AM Any other ideas?
vSector 04-03-2002, 08:19 AM authorize.net
linkpoint.com
echo-inc.com
these are merchant accounts and you generally have to live in the usa to get one.

Sorry to bump in here, however since our service is being talked about here, it is only fair to mention that we are already completing our realtime billing mechanism which will be available quite shortly (within 2 weeks).
Regards,
Asher.
neonlexx 04-03-2002, 03:56 PM Will we be able to fully integrate this into our sites or will we have to send users to your site?

No it will open in a pop-up window (unrbanded) no mention of hostcharge.

Serena 04-14-2002, 12:29 PM Asher, with your implementation of real-time processing, will you still be offering manual processing for those of us who don't want real-time processing? And if so, will there be a difference in price structuring between the two?

Realtime will be available somewhere around end of April and no it wont make any difference to those people who want to process manually or any prices changes :)

Serena 04-14-2002, 01:02 PM Great. I was just reviewing info on your site, and have a question. I would want to use the PC software to manually process orders. Do I understand this correctly:
Cost to purchase software = $395.00, or I can lease it for $24.95/month.
If this is correct and I wanted to lease the software, my total cost for using your service would be the $24.95/month plus transaction fees, or would I be subject to the $10.00/month statement fee in addition to the $24.95/month?
Am I missing any other involved costs?
Thanks!

I think you have us confused with someone else... we dont offer any 'software' all is there what is there as on our website (hostcharge.com) :)
The only cost you incurr with us is the setup fee or the gateway fee.

Asher.
Serena 04-14-2002, 01:18 PM Sorry about that. My brain is fried!
Asher S 04-14-2002, 01:20 PM No problem ;)
