Hello,

I formed a US Corp in Delaware.
I have my EIN (Fed Tax Number)
I have a US Address Plus Mail Box
I have a U.S phone number
Born In Pakistan
Holds a Pakistani Passport.
Easy Corp won't open an account as they say after the patriot act it's been difficult, any idea what banks would work?
I also hold a Canadian Company, Bank Account,
Bank Of Montreal and TD do they offer U.S banking?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank You,

You may be able to open a US bank account if you are willing/able to travel to the US and appear in person at the bank. The sticking point is that the banks are required to verify your identity, which they are only willing to do in person. Obviously, this may not be feasible or cost effective.

Honestly, if you already have a Canadian bank account and company set up, you should have a much easier time there.
Have a look at Moneris - I think they're related to BMO. Also InternetSecure.com
I'm going through the same hassles right now. I think I've found a solution for US processing, but for me, Canada is out. As I'm now a non-resident Canadian citizen, that's the last place I'd process my business funds ;)
Offshore processing is a challenge, and whoever makes it easy will make a mint! (hmmm.... business idea #25349582)

That's so true, I don't my business activity in Canada, I had a bad time with the unprofessional idiots at Moneris, very inpolite I contacted them when I was in Canada, InternetSecure is one of the worst companies I`ve worked with, so I won't every work with them again, This is why i`m after a US business account.
Thank You for your help, however I would really appreciate if some one could suggest a company or two.P)
Thanks

Did Moneris not want to open an account because you don't have a SIN? You'll have the same issue in the US regarding opening a merchant account without a SSN. You might to make sure you have a processor that is willing to underwrite your account before you try to open a US bank account, otherwise you could put a lot of work into opening the US bank account and still not be able to get a US merchant account.

Valis is almost complete as well for helping opening up a bank account. There are also other Canadian companies that seem to be more reliable than the ones that you have mentioned in your particular situation

Dont worry about trying ETRADE. I sent them my form on 13th June with $1,000.00 Deposit, then on 29th June they received my application form for a check book and check card. As yet I havnt received the check book and they tell me they are no longer supplying check cards to foreigners. So much for ETRADE. They have $1,000.00 of my money and I have nothing!!!!!!

Have you asked them to return your money and close your account? Or did they give you debit card possibly to gain access to your account?
E-Trade is pretty large and well known, and not some fly-by-night operation

Corey, They told me that NO debit card will be issued for foreigners!!! I phoned them on the 14th July and they said that they had sent the checks to me on 1st July as yet I have received nothing. I sent them an email 1st August asking about the checks but no responce as yet. Im not saying they are a fly-by-night company but when I first applied for the Brokerage account on the 13th June they Ok me for the Check card and Check book. I havnt asked them to close the account or for my money back yet as I was hoping for the account to be up and running by now.
