iamdave 04-03-2002, 01:47 AM I got 2 512 chips a few months ago for $60 each, now from the same place, the same chip is $150.
My advice would be to go search on ebay. A guy name Honest Abe Memory has some good stuff.
akashik 04-03-2002, 01:48 AM glad I bought when I did then :) I'd been putting off a memory upgrade for a while till going out and getting some last month

bitserve 04-03-2002, 03:05 AM I'm glad the prices are finally going up again. You wouldn't believe how much money I lost when the prices started dropping.
I'm not a very good investor sometimes.
RackMy.com 04-03-2002, 05:24 AM From what our account rep at Crucial is telling us, it is going up even higher.
mdrussell 04-03-2002, 05:36 AM Anyone got an eta of when it will drop?
When it first started rising after Christmas, I presumed it would have fallen again by Summer... maybe I'm wrong =/.

compusa prices are expected to nearly double over the next few weeks
in the general market, the prices had bottomed out back in november-december and beginning of jan..
then they started climbing during jan and are now sky rocketing upwards
