I have requested a change in the name server since a week ago. Until now my my site has not been up since because I have stop hosting at my former ISP and waiting for NSI to update my new DNS. Why don't they change the old & cumbersome system where we can manage our own DNS thus saving them time and manpower on email respond. After reading some of your posting here in *************.com I have decided to move all my domain held in NSI to other registrar.

i dunno, but something is not working for me either
altho Im using dotster, it is being changed in dotster's whois database, but when I actually goto my site, its still pointed at the old nameserver i was using.
well, but i think my case is different
this is kinda complicated
1) i changed the nameserver to something else a few days ago
(so, for easier representations... from NS-A to NS-B)
2) then like an hour later, i decided to stay with the host i was using originally, so i changed the nameserver again
(from NS-B to NS-A)
3) then, i saw that even tho i changed it back to my original, dotster listed the new nameserver (still listed NS-B)
4) so, i changed it again to the original
(NS-B to NS-A again)
5) its been 2 days since the last change, and when i do a whois at betterwhois.com - it says that from [whois.crsnic.net] that my site is being pointed at NS-A (the one I want).. but when i goto my site, it seems to be using the files off the second nameserver (NS-B, the one i don't want anymore)
i don't think its a problem with dotster, its the people who are responsible for updating the main whois database (whoever that is lol).
complicated story, isn't it?
hehe, if anyone knows whats up... tell me!
btw, have a happy new year!
