For the last 3-4 days I've noticed that threads in the lounge seem to have time's for new posts which are completely different when you actually click to read it. For example in the salary thread on the forum view it shows Torith has just replied, yet when you view the thread the last post was over an hour ago!
I've attached some images below to show the point I'm making just incase you don't understand!

I see it too in a few threads.
Can't think of what would be causing it.

I think it might be just for the threads with polls now that I look in more detail. For some reason I think it might be counting a response to the poll as a response to the thread even if the person doesn't actually post anything along with their vote.

You're probably right. If the `lastpost` column is a "timestamp" it would automatically be updated every time the thread is updated.
I'm not sure how vB's database is setup but that's what seems to be happening.

Actually, I think it was because someone was in Admin and ticked the "Update the last post time for the thread (thus returning it to the top of a forum) when a vote is placed" to Yes.
Not that there's anything 'wrong' with that.
Back to No now though. :angel:
