Martie 04-02-2002, 03:54 PM Hi Nathan, Try the search feature here in the forum (above) Just type in company name and it will bring up past threads/discussion. :D TheException 04-02-2002, 08:27 PM I had an account with them for a little while in the past, I believe I dealt with Josh over there, and he was a really great guy, helped me out best he could. I didn't stay there long, but it was not because of them, their service was great. There were reasons on my end that I didn't stay, the service just wasn't quite what I was looking for, I thought it was but I ended up needing a lot more. In short, I would definately reccommend them, judging by my brief experience with them. hcarlson3 04-02-2002, 09:09 PM I just signed on with them and so far so good. My account was created in around 3 hours, now just waiting for DNS record to update. xirus 04-03-2002, 02:42 AM I believe they have been around for quite some time i dont think you can go wrong. But then again thats just me  xharine 04-03-2002, 05:13 AM I've just signed up yesterday! Josh has been very helpful for the past few weeks while I bombarded him with my questions and fears and he replied to them patiently. I mean you could always email them to ask them pre-sales questions and I'm sure Josh will reply asap. Sain Cai 04-03-2002, 03:25 PM I have signed up with Ecomm a couple weeks ago and I am VERY pleased with the service. My pages load fast, as well as my forum. My account was set up in about 15-20 minutes after recieving the payment, and Josh and his crew were always there when I needed help in the first stages. I highly recommend ecommercediscovery. wmac 04-12-2002, 05:01 AM Hello I have been with them for about a year. I have always told that Josh is a real gentelman :) He always has the best offers in Webhosting Requests forum here. They have two kind of hosting accounts. Cheap cognet bandwidth, and Acceptable and stable burst.net accounts. I personally prefer their busrt.net servers (something about $2-$2.5 / Gig) but if you need cheap bandwidth you can go with their cognet servers ($0.7-$1/ Gig) . Support and responsibility of Josh and his company is excellent. Mac create101 04-12-2002, 07:24 AM I signed up with them yesterday, and received an e-mail this morning saying they were refunding my money because my account wasn't able to be set up. Before that e-mail they sent me one saying that they "expect all domains to be readable in the next 24 hours... there were still a few things they needed to reconfigure." So it's my guess that they had some kind of outage in the past few days, and they're not accepting new customers right now. Josh did suggest that I contact them in a week, and they should have everything back to business. Even though the transaction didn't go through, you can't say their service isn't good. I SURELY appreciate their honesty and the refund in a timely manner. Alexis wmac 04-12-2002, 09:19 AM Yes, Their new server will be ready in a new datacenter in a few days and they will be able to setup your account. But something from my experience. Do not choose a new company just because you are in a hurry. There are many many new hosts here on WHT since 2 months ago (after dedicated server prices came down) but they themselves need a lot of time to gain enough experience to be able to derive a successful business. I myself will go with those which are in the market for a while because they have had time to develop a successful business model. Mac |
