Dear Forum Helpers,

I would like to know if it is possible to translate the messages that the gateway reply when you perform an online transaction. I mean, I would like to show Spanish messages to my Spanish speakers customers. Do you understand me?

I want to translate by hand every known message from Linkpoint Gateway. In order to do that, I should be sure that there are a limited number of messages from the gateway and I should to find a list with messages and their explanations in order to translate them.

If all this is possible… do you know where I can find the information I need?

I'd suggest contacting your gateway support and ask them for an FAQ or White Paper on their gateway response messages... that would be your best bet.

I know they can give me their gateway list of responses, but I would like to know if there is a list of cardholders bank’s responses. For instance: “Do not honor”, “Bank wants contact voice”, etc. All kind of replies that Banks give.

Is there a response pattern for all banks or each one show its own responses?

I wish you were able to understand me. I am a “double-newbie”. I am learning English and I am learning about payment gateways and merchant accounts.
