Hi
Many hosts setup a TS forum where all customers and staff could meet and exchange information regarding support problems..
What do you suggest for the forums categories and names if you set up a board as a secondry support channel? (ex. General descussion, announcements, general support, HTML ..etc.)

Well, our forums look like this:
News and Announcements
Suggestions and Feedback
Comps and Promos
General Forums
Pre-Sales Questions
Open Discussion
Website Gallery
E-commerce: Questions + Comments
Resellers Forum
Support Zone
General Support
Email Issues
Plesk Control Panel
phpBB + phpBB2
PHP, MySQL (Databases), CGI, Perl
WebDesign and HTML Support
Hope this helps a little. Most hosts have categories like this, though we set up a few like the phpbb board ad ecommerce forum and the request of our members

NexDog has some good examples to go by there.
My advice, is just stick with what you offer, and build the forums based on support emails/calls that you get.
If you offer specific services, offer a forum for it, for example if you have an online site building app, then put a forum where people can discuss that and so on.
Hope this helps.

Unfortunately not many of our users have decided to sign-up but an incentive plan will be put in place around May 1 for those who haven't signed up and give them a chance to do so for a discount on their hosting plan for next year.
