<Rant>Im posting here because im fed up. IM currently experiencing technical support difficulties with my nissan maxima. I emailed support 5 minutes ago AND STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. IS anyone else having problems obtaining support from Nissan. I cant seem to even find a support number and or helpdesk system, you would think they could at least have live chat. How can you sell a inter city transportation hosting product when you don't have fanatical support. I mean I thought i was the most important customer? </Rant>

Anyhow my problem is that the dealer informed me i could go 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Im currently experiencing speeds of 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. Could this be because Nissan oversells?

I went with Nissan because I heard good things on here about them, but im starting to wonder. Is anyone else able to get ahold of them, or knows perhaps of a better way to get ahold of them.

I post here because Im sure Nissan monitors the forums and ill prob. get a faster response here. Of course theres always a possibility that all the information i need on my specific problem is located on their website and how to contact support is probably on there too. But i figure since this forum is here, ill use it.

Since i dont think im going to be able to get the level of support i need from Nissan, does anyone know where I can get a 2002 Porsche Boxster I need it fully loaded and will NOT spend more then $4.95/month to lease it. I expect it to have a lifetime UNLIMITED warranty, no signing fee, and the ability to upgrade to a new model at a whim whenever i feel like it. I also expect a 100% up time guarantee or you give me another free Porsche Boxster for every minute its in the shop. Furthermore I expect managed security, I need a SLA specifying what you will do in the event any of my 2002 Porsche Boxsters get broken into. Finally I expect to be able to call you at any time day or night and have a live operator answer and walk me through how to clean my floor mats.

(Reminds me of what most of the posts on here are like anymore :)

- on behalf of Nissan, i'd just like to say that it's not my fault we are getting so many orders, and my friends and I can't keep up with the order volumes. The power went out, and i couldn't find the contraption to turn the *car* back on here at the plant.

you are the most important customer, but we have to be fair don't we? If you ask for 5 minutes of support, then we'd have to give everyone 5 minutes of support, so we can't do that.

our 100% up time guarantee is real. we guranteed that your car would be able to work all 100% of the time. and it could have, if we had given it more gas. since you didn't pay us for the gas, you can't expect us to keep it going can you?

but it doesn't matter - because we have very important people buying our cars if you don't.

so all you people - who are you going to believe? me - who owns a huge car manufacturing plant, or that guy, who was so cheap that he bought the smallest car we've got?

[this sounds like many of the bad hosting companies that sometimes stick their noses around here..]

It's so true though, hosting clients expect someone to answer their support questions 24/7 and within a few minutes to an hour.
And if they don't receive a reply in 3 days then the only thing they think of is come here to WHT and post their story about a nasty host.

And if they have to wait for a host to check on the problem, well then they move host quicker than I can post this.

They expect an unlimited plan for $2 p/m and unlimited staff to answer their unlimited emails.

Really if you sit back and compare it to any other industry, you get an idea of how unbelievable their expectations.

:eek3:

well if they expect response from host within 3-4 hours, i guess its a valid expectations unless host clearify on web site no 24 / 7 support.

3 days - no comments :eek2:

I think Charles needs to step away from the keyboard and go play in the park for a bit. Hunting butterflies is fun, you just need a really big net and then run in circles fast. Invite some friends to watch you do it, and suggest they all wear big white lab coats.

Once they see how fun it is, they'll start running behind you. Of course you don't want to be selfish to give the butterfly net to the guy behind you.
