I've been looking around on the boards, and have noticed that all these people are like getting so excited over it being April 1st "April Fools". All these people are playing stupid April Fools jokes. Wasn't that something you do in the 3rd grade?
Sorry for the rant, but grow up!

Seriously, my only criticism is that most of what's been posted here posing as "April Fool's jokes" isn't worthy of the title... outlandish stories that no one could buy for a second don't live up the the strong tradition of April Fool's day on the internet.

My favorite was several years ago when the owner my ISP, a refuge for tech-savvy netizens of character, pretended that he had sold the company to a despised rival -- starting with an announcement in the local newsgroups and the web page, followed with a personal explanation even saying that he knew people would tend not to believe it because of the date... but intertwining all the writing with subtle clues that he was in fact trolling us all. It was masterful, and I haven't seen anything today that can compare.


Actually, now that I think about it, the fake Microsoft stuff at dmoz.org this morning was pretty well executed.

Everyone has some child in them. Its a proven fact. Its very good to let that child out once in a while. It helps releive stress, and adds some happiness to people's lives. Some of them are pretty funny too.

My 2 cents, just let it go, and you should join in, have a little fun, maybe luagh once or twice, it would be good for you! :P

Kind of clever writing, I guess, but not worthy of an April Fool's prank; because nobody's going to believe it. Heck, my post about it was a better April Fool's prank than the page itself was!

What's so childish about my signature? It basically says that unlimited disgusts me, and that nothing is unlimited, bandwidth nor diskspace. I don't know how you interpret it, but the way it was meant had nothing childish behind it.
