Hello:

I am curious as to the specifics of the site you are building...
What is required as far as programming goes? Graphics?
I could build such a site for you by the sounds of things, but I don't have much of a portfolio as I have not done a lot of work for other people.

I may also be able to reccomend some other people if I am not able to do what you need.

Tx for the reply TheE..

I started this project about 2 weeks ago. Through searching, I've found this great place. Since I am preoccupied with my business and don't have the time, or knowledge of Website Creation.

I was hoping someone here can help me build the foundation of my dream gaming site. Our clan SoDRealm is a gaming clan (we play Rogue Spear, Counter-Strike,1st person shooter etc..). I wanted a site that people can sign up join a team, play in our tournament we might be having etc.. Also, since my other business is customising PC for gaming and business. I'd figure why not ecommerce the site and sell the systems, and also provide free website hosting to other clans. Therefore, I would need some type of database backend (MySQL pref.) running on an Apache Server or IIS, it would not matter.

I have the following applications that I would like to integrate with the site:

IPSwitch IMail Server v7.06 (for web based Email)
H-Sphere 2.08 w/ Site Studio option (evaluating at the moment and I'll probably buy this package from Mike)

Here's something similar @ http://www.clanladder.com

Look no further. I can provide everything you need in return for that PC, and on top of that, I can have the site built in about a week, if that. You can check out my portfolio at http://www.prodigyseven.com and also contact me with the info in my signature. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
I have sent you a PM.

Our company Get Boxed Studios, Inc. (www.getboxed.com) can work with you to create an eye-catching stunning web site design for your gaming website.

Currently I can only offer you a unique/professional website design, no programming behind it (due to time constraints). Our company has handled many gaming websites before so we have experience. Please visit www.getboxed.com for our portfolio.

What we are looking for, in exchange for the design only, are new equipment for our graphic workstations. Any of the following would be suitable as an exchange for a website design:

- Pentium 4 Barebone working system
- 19" or higher monitor
- Pentium 2 or higher laptop
- anything you think can be used at our studio.

You can pick whatever you'd like above that could help our design studio in exchange for a full website design. Please get back to me. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Nich

I wasn't saying anything about the flash, I was just saying that using a tool that generates the actual flash for you wasn't a good way to go. I can do flash work, and I don't know what you mean about something being wrong with it. There's nothing wrong with it at all. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

So you need the full programming behind it?

For all those things mentioned, it sounds to be worth more than the actual PC (IMO)

Unfortuneatly, I can only offer design services :(
