I ordered a .bz domain from namecheap yesturday around noon, and it's yet to be listed on whois.belizenic.bz . It is listed on whois.enom.com, but not the official .bz whois server. DNS Doesn't resolve either.

A friend of mine told me a story about how it took 4 days for his domain to resolve. I'm hoping this isn't the case, and would like some input from all of you regarding your experience with the .bz cctld.

ccTLDs tend to take longer to finally be registered, much more to
even resolve to their intended sites. What does it say in nic.bz or
whatever their registry is?

Mine took a while, but then I realized that I never setup the domain for hosting.

It's run by Verisign so it _should_ be quick.

that's pretty funny. I'm in the enom database, but i'm still not listed in the root .bz database.

try bzwhois.verisign-grs.com the new registry nameserver since verisign started to manage .bz several months back.

many domains like your example such as unix.bz
