I have already registered a few domains through gkg.net (http://gkg.net) and based on my limited experience with such things, they seem to be a great registrar. However, I see barely any mention of them whatsoever on WHT, so before I go and start transfering and registering more names over there, I'm curious to see if anyone else has an opinion. Maybe I'm missing something?
And if no one uses them and they go under, what the heck happens then?
Thanks.

hmmm, I also like GKG.net very much. I think that the fact they only offer three TLDs and that pricing starts at 9.99$ doesn't make GKG as compelling.

Yes, their services are good! Especially on their transfer service. If the transfer failde, they just charge you $6 not $9,9

:) I'm not familiar with other registrars transfer policies, so I honestly don't know if you're being sarcastic or not  But I do think they only charge you $3.99 for a failed transfer.
In general with GKG, I think that some of their FAQ are out of date, and the current methods are actually better than indicated in the FAQ.

Edit: corrected the amount

Roughly 50% of our transfers fail the first time, of these they generally go through on the second or third attempt.
Does this mean they would charge you $3 a pop for the two failed attempts, and then $9 for the third, successful attempt?

Why would anyone actually pay for a failed transfer?!?!
I use stargate.com and if the transfer fails my card is not actually charged, only authorized. The Auth is then removed from my credit card within a couple days.
