Anyone know much about UKHost4U.com?


Is there anyone out there who is similar or can offer what is offered at UKHost4U.com.

Since we can't seem to find anyone much better than them, I suppose they are the best out there that we can find right now.

They provide the Plesk Control Panels for customers and the Plesk Reseller panel for ourselves.

I know unlimited is not everything, but it's something nice they say they offer. Unlimited is never true, but when it comes to re-selling to your customers it's something nice.

If there are others out there with better, please let me know. They even sound better than http://www.UnlimitedFreeHost.tk

Their different costs range up and down depending on how much bandwidth is needed. Their smallest package comes with 15Gigs of bandwidth whereas their largest comes with 50Gigs of bandwidth.

I heard people say their support is not all that great though.

But I'm curious at how they get them "Unlimited Web Space" drives into the boxes. That's a pretty good trick indeed!! :rolleyes:

No, no, I'm not advertising for them.

I'm wondering if there is any hosting out there that is better. It seems they have everything covered from space and the amount of domains to pretty cheap bandwidth . . .

The only downfall that I've heard is support is lacking a little bit.

And, yes, once again, that UNLIMITED word. Can they really say UNLIMITED?! =/

Please ask for us if they can assist in transferring ALL .com's to them in a one reseller account. I think for that money we all can put our savings and use a BIG GREAT ACCOUNT.

does anyone know what software they provide to resellers and their clients? i really like their plans and i know support is below average but im thinking of taking a chance and going with them
im hoping i learn fast and can do most things via panel,wishful thinking perhaps

Apache servers running RedHat Linux 7.x . The control panel supplied to resellers and their clients is Plesk Server Admin v 2, which he may upgrad to 2.5 soon i am guessing. The CP is pretty straightforward when u have spent some time getting used to it, you can set up everything to do with your clients accounts on it. Get a copy of the plesk user guide from www.plesk.com

I signed up, took him a day to setup the account, so he's not the fastest, but I do like the service thus far.

Although, I'm ready to cancel my account already. I was under the impression we received two IP addresses to setup our own host name servers. I didn't know that we don't get to setup our own host name servers?! Is this not true?! I'm even willing to pay extra to setup my own host name servers, I'm willing to pay an extra fee to get two IP addresses. Can we purchase extra IP addresses from him for an extra charge? Could I have more than just two host name servers by purchasing several IP addresses from him?

I've emailed him asking him this question, but no response yet, might be a little while . . .

erm IP Addresses are £20 plus £1 a month so £32 per year each.
the description of his accounts do not say that you get any IP addresses

Slow at getting responses back, but like you said before, if there are no problems with his servers (and I have seen none thus far) then why is there a need to even contact him?!

I'm pretty satisfied thus far. I was used to the WHM and CPanel in the past, so I will have to get used to the Plesk panels, but that's no so bad, they look pretty nice and self explanatory.

I'll probably go download the manuals for them so I have that handy just in case . . .

I signed up yesterday and they setup my account within 10 minutes.
