View Full Version : You ASSURED ME that everything would go SMOOTHLY!
scslawin 04-01-2002, 01:40 PM Web hosting has got to be a pretty rough business. There are times that I consider reselling Web space but then I read some of the threads here and, well...
But as a friend of the industry and an entrepreneur, I want to help. If I could create a service or some code or a hosted application that would really help you in the hosting business, what would it be?
For any aspect of your business.
Tell me what kind of service or program or application would be just the thing to make life easier for you -- maybe I can make it happen.
Tell me.
Steve
The Laughing Cow 04-01-2002, 02:11 PM Hi steve,
I would like a full automation system.
e.g
User signs up via processor/merchant account etc
They are added to perldesk as a user
The details are entered into WHM/Hsphere awaiting moderation
Emails are sent confirming with passwords etc.
This would be great!!
I have half of this working for Horizon though the whole lot would be lovely!
Best of luck though
Good cpanel/whm documentation. :)
snikle 04-01-2002, 03:27 PM The Laughing Cow's idea is right on target. My partner and I are setting up a web hosting part of our web design firm and he is working ona similiar system, allowing the host to automate alot of the system, emailing updates to bills, sending out passwords, etc. Anything that automated and tied in the whoel system together would be outstanding. I think you could make a fortune selling it too, there are tons of resellers out there that would pay for a system to run everything for them..
NumLock 04-01-2002, 03:37 PM an automatic foot massager;)
XDude 04-01-2002, 04:03 PM A script or program that automaticly deposits $100 million into my bank account every hour :).
The Laughing Cow 04-01-2002, 04:05 PM snikle is too right,
That sort of system fully implemented would be outstanding!
It would be good if it would work for integration into other control panels
The Laughing Cow 04-01-2002, 04:11 PM I have posted an idea here

Didn't Mr. Perciva (WHT Title: cperciva) already create a similar system?
The Laughing Cow 04-01-2002, 06:35 PM I am not sure tbh,
Though it looks like it has a lot of interest,
