Check your domain expiry date for those domains you transfered to Registerfly, the Expiry Dates shown in RegisterFly Domain Manager for your transfered domains may be different from what you expected.

Check the WHOIS at http://www.enom.com/domains/WhoIs.asp for your Transfered domains "registration-expiration-date" and "registrar-transfer-date"

Instead of adding another year onto your existing original expiration date and state the "registration-expiration-date" as your domain Expiry Date, RegisterFly states the "registrar-transfer-date" as the Expiry Date in your domain manager.

so ifyou transfer to registerfly, how much time is actually being added to your domain??

For example, if you have an existing domain that is going to expire in May 1 2002, you transfered it to Registerfly on April 1 2002, they set April 1 2003 as your new Expiry Date instead of May 1 2003.

I have sent them a support ticket 5 days ago. Still waiting....

Byron,

This is very strange.. your domains are in fact with Enom unless registerfly are using someone else now, and we have thousands registered with enom, and never had this problem..

Can you contact me by email please.. I would like to check this out in case it's a problem we will have to face.. !!

If it is an enom problem then I can find out within hours of the business day commencing...

Cheers.. <worried>

You just need to go to your RegisterFly Domain Manager and check the Expiry Date for any domains you transfered to them.

With reference to my first post in this thread, my transfered domains are showing the "registrar-transfer-date" plus another year for the Expiry Date, instead of "registration-expiration-date" plus another year.

They have not reply me since i sent them a support ticket about 5 days ago.

I don't deal with registerfly.. :)

whatever you see is from enom [or should be]

can you show me an example so I can check it out through the proper channels.. it will take 2 seconds if all is well.. and you may not have to worry about support tickets and the like..

It's RegisterFly Domain Manager that is showing the incorrect Expiry Date for my transfered domains.

Enom Whois is showing the correct info.

Oh good, then you have no problem.. because your domain is with enom and whatever registerfly's broken interface may say, it doesn't affect your position..

I'm glad, you had me worried there..

It's been a week and no reply from them. I even left a message on their "live" support.

I have tons of domains there and I am not feeling very happy now.

Registerfly used to be a great registrar but now they just can't support the amount of clients that they have. I have a ticket in for over a week, and have not received any reply. I recently opened an OpenSRS account, as I will be transfering all my domains there, as this situation is just rediculous with Registerfly.

Yeah, it happen to me once in 2000 when I transfer a domain to RegisterFly. Don't tell me that they still have'nt fixed the problem.

At that time I initiated a transfer of mydomain.net to them but instead they transferred mydomain.com to them. Thus I have one and only one domain with them. And also the problem that
Byron had mention. I talk to their support about that too and they corrected my expiring date in their control manager. It was about two years ago.

I have domains with registerfly but they locked all my domains.
If you want transfer your domains from registerfly see first if they are locked.
