Hey,

I would like to find a webhost (preferablly one) who will pay referral fees for clients. I don't have the resources to resell or support clients. Also can you tell me about your experience with that web host?

I would like to find someone who has Windows and Linux hosting and all of the other services a web host should offer. (secure certs, domain reg, etc.)

Thanks,
Jamison

I think you'd be better off by posting in the ad section about your desire to be a referral. Thou'll get lot of replies from all types of hosts.

Lycospartnership pays very well. You have your own site which they give you £50 worth of google adwords vouchers.

Site5 gives $55 per shared hosting signup and $70 per reseller hosting signup. We have an account on Site5 and their service is very good.

You could try and join CommissionJunction; quite a few of hosts run a (high paying) affiliate though them. I'm not sure you'll have much luck with this requirement though:

I've been checking out some affiliate programs. I don't know why I didn't think to search for "affiliate" Doh!

Anyway, the only tricky part is finding someone that does Windows AND Linux. There seem to be a lot that do one, but not the other.

I really want one solid host that I can transfer people to who are having troubles with their current host. While searching I discovered H-sphere. The idea of the same interface for Windows and Linux is also very appealing as I would be teaching people how to use their webhost. I checked out DIYhosting.com, but they appear to only be reselling.

Are their any good, higly rated resellers of DIY on these boards?

Thanks,
Jamison
