How do you have it set up? I just finished installing it and have it set up to accept support and billing via email and the web help desk.

What I am wondering is what do you do once you have responded to someones email? Since I have it set up to take care of two departments I have to use a generic email. Should I just put something at the bottom of the emails Perldesk sends saying somethig like: "This ticket is now closed. If problems persist please open a new ticket by e-mailing support@ or billing@"

From what I figure this is really the only way to do it and still have your support email going to Perldesk.

Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks, Andrew

Usually I'll let my clients close tickets if they are satisfied with solution.

Good luck ! ;)

Why not post the question at PerlDesk Forum (http://www.perldesk.com/board/)?

SoftwareRevue: Because I was wondering how other resellers used Perldesk. There is nothing technical about this question. I just wanted to know how other web hosts had Perldesk setup. I have it working fine. Thanks.

Tim,

I got it installed. All I was wondering is how others had it setup. Do they require registration. What e-mail do they put for the main one (the one that shows in the "from" field). I am planning to use it for billing and support. If I was just using it for support I would put support@.

I appreciate your offer for assistance too. Andrew
