Is there any add-ons or a way for non-reseller clients to edit DNS in cPanel? I have not found a way to enable this feature, and I'm tired of a few clients constantly asking me to make changes. It's their domain, and they should be able to do what they want without having to use another website for DNS. Besides it becomes a hassle for them when they create sub-domains, etc. Anyone know of a solution? My only idea is to switch to DirectAdmin? Please help..

Your hosting company should not have any problem in doing this stuff for you. All you need to do is to open a ticket with them. Switching to control panel other than cPanel will bring more problems.

I think he is the "Hosting Company" Reseller and his clients keep asking him to edit the DNS. SO I think the question is how do you allow a client to edit thier own DNS when they do not have reseller rights.

I would not allow them, it would be easier to make the changes for them or chance having to spend a lot of time correcting mistakes or killing and restoring accounts from backups :-)

There are only a couple clients asking me for this permission at the moment. I would definitely not allow all my clients to do this, but I still feel bad for the ones that need to and I get tired of having to do it for them. Does anyone have any other solutions, or know anyone from the creators of cPanel or RVSkin that can create this feature.

Your best bet would be to open a feature suggestion with cPanel to add this functionality to cPanel. However, you will most likely need to wait a long time... if it even gets implemented.

I thought you can do dns settings modification at CPanel provided that you enabled in at WHM?
