Basically I am I reseller, have around 50 customers, some of them are resellers some shared. I need someone to help out for a small price.

Its an extremely simple job:
- you will need to answer simple questions yourself
- if they are about billing or anything to do with admin let them know I will get back to them
- or simply forward them on to the parent host that I buy from.
- all clients use cPanel or WHM
- There are usually not many emails for support, one every few days, so in fact you may not get any.
- tell me which hours you're willing to work

I need this ASAP as for a few days I will be away (in about 2 weeks) and need to know my clients will be acknowledged.

The main problems I do get are very simple to answer and you probably won't need to contact anyone else for help. I will give you a login on a help desk and an email address if you need it. This is more like an extra job on the side, I wont be able to pay that much but maybe in future I will be able to offer more if you want to continue helping out.

I would really appreciate any offers! It might be good for people looking to get started in this kind of area, age is not a problem but let me know the kind of experience you have.

CONTACT: Via PM or reply to this post then I'll get back to you.

Thank You

Hi,

Can't help you as such, but you might want to think about outsourcing on a $ per ticket basis?

I'd like to take on this role, my experience as support staff is minimal though I have been involved in many support forums, chat rooms etc for years as well as running my own popular sites so do believe I would be able to cover.

I've had a few offers for the cover for when I'm away and I would also like to know if anyone is willing to work for free whenever they would like to to gain experience. I could give things like hosting space in return, and as things grow I can offer more. Right now all I can afford is the paid cover for 2 weeks when I'm away.

^ To gain experience I would offer to work for free, having a few weeks till my last year of college starts, would be best to use the time productively.

Thank you.

I'll bear you in mind, but I've had so many offers and only need one person so I've got to think carefully!

It would be worth you asking them a dozen or so typical support questions to see how well they answer them.
I'm not saying anyone who applied to you does not know their stuff, but I know I had a number apply to me in the past who clearly did not have the requisite skills, so it does no harm to be cautions

Also, try not to ask questions to which the answers can be easily googled ....

That's a good idea. There's so many people its difficult to choose. I am interested more in the manner, and friendliness instead of tech skills. I want good English and friendliness at all times :)

Ah, yeah take your time. No point in rushing. Keep in mind, if for some reason, I do not have a particular skill, don't hesistate to tell me and I WILL learn it. Also, I do reselling with www.8inet.com, I've known the owner for close to 2 and a half years. You can ask him about me if you'd like.

Thanks for the consideration.

Daniel.
