From my last incident, my old host had moved me to another webhosting company (may read about the topic from my old posts) and has provided me with exceptional hosting from the support they've given me (real time, most of the time) and things like serversided issues with the limit of the amount of emailing I do with my forum are all solved with a reply.

Out of all of the hosting companys I've been hosted with, I must say this is the best I've encountered.

Server I'm on has had no downtime at all, which is making my site throttle it's stats to what it used to be a long time ago.

The url is:
techieworld.net

:) They're surely the best!

Glad to hear you've had no problem with your current host. Let us know again in few months.

I wonder why they are using FDC Servers TOS, they don't appear to have operate any FDC servers

Alot of hosting companies change DC's and this type of thing is overlooked and they forget to change or update the website. I am just giving them the benefit of the doubt, I could be wrong. :)

Maybe but they changed most of it by replacing FDC Servers.net with TechieWorld.net, if they used the data centres they will of usually left FDC Servers.net. Of course I could be wrong but they don't seem to be running hosting website since 2003 :)

Nice to see a good review even if it looks like an advertisement.

"I must say this is the best I've encountered." With only 4 posts at WHT?

Anyways, congratulations on finding WHT.

HiVelocity .... You kind look like you are sucking up to the WHT community, I hope things are OK for you :- )

Advertisement? I've been hosting with companies for a year or so, even had a dedicated off managed.com which I don't have anymore since I find hosting with hosting companies is much more cheaper than renting a server.

I own the domain and use it, it's called coolyou.org. Although there is only a message called "hello" I run my own private forum on there for a school, and it's quite a big hit.

Please don't judge a person by the amount of posts they have but what they are behind the screen of yours ;)

Well, coolyou007, we do have a problem with people joining this Forum and making their first post or so, on how great their Hoster is -- only to find it's a bunch of BS and they were just trying to drum up business for them.

Not saying that is the situation with you but it is common with people signing up and their first post is Blah, Blah, their Hoster. People do not signup with a Forum to brag about their Hoster nor use a Thread Subject such as you did.

coolyou.org is hosted with HOST-VIBE.COM so perhaps you can explain why your thread talks about some other Hoster? Or, did you get confused on which Domain name you host with techieworld.net?

I do apologize for just signing up and posting how great the hosting service is. I've just never joined up to this site before though I do recall coming here but with no interest of reading much of hte topics and participating.

coolyou.org was bought not by me, but from a friend who lost his details to get me to log on to the domain cp. I don't know why but it seems to work with the techieworld.net server. Well with the uploading of the files and seeing that it's been uploaded via ftp to the techieworld server tells me it's working.

I'm still confused over why it allows that even when the host-vibe dns servers are used.

coolyou sent me the post so I believe I should comment on this before it turns into something it shouldn't.

Ping his domain and you will notice it goes to techieworld.net server. Ping host-vibe.net and notice it goes to another IP. That was their former hosting provider. Not sure why the whois is showing the nameservers still with them. They changed for a while.

At one time yes I did belong to FDCServers.net. We had decided back in April to buy our own servers and colo them at our local DC. The terms and services by mistake did not get changed. After pointing this out I have used what was suppose to be in place when we did the change. Thank you for pointing that out.

We started back in April of 2003 and have been going strong since then. We mainly host sites for our local area but since we decided to purchase our own servers we have decided to start reaching other customers besides the locals.

At any rate I do thank coolyou for posting this feedback. He has been with us for a while and is a good customer. This was his choice to post and was not asked of him. We specialize in taking care of our customers and well, he just wanted to share that.

Thanks again coolyou!
