Zoneserv has some unbelievably cheap plans, and I was wondering if they are evenlegit. Has anyone here has any experience with them?

Earlier when they first started they admitted that they oversell--largely at that. At their first attempt to be a reseller host they got "hacked" several times which ended up in data loss. After that, they started offering dedicated servers. Now, they supposedly have corrected the issues that got them hacked earlier and now do daily backups twice a week.

I can't answer your question directly, but hopefully you can decide from the info given to you.

I was with them and they lost ALL my data when they got hacked. I asked for a refund and they had the cheek to talk about percentages of the month left when they lost all of my data!!

I would not count on that unless it says so in their website/tos/sla.

Seems like their website is down. Whats going on? I canceled my reaccuring bill with my current host to move to them on 2/2/06 and now the site is gone. I am confused I guess.

We had a small outage, the main IP of the server was "stolen" by another server in the DC. The issue has been solved as quick as possible.
