At their first attempt to be a reseller host they got "hacked" several times which ended up in data loss. After that, they started offering dedicated servers. Now, they supposedly have corrected the issues that got them hacked earlier and now do daily backups twice a week. I can't answer your question directly, but hopefully you can decide from the info given to you. Cheers, plustreme 07-18-2005, 01:06 PM Originally posted by elix and now do daily backups twice a week. I asked for a refund and they had the cheek to talk about percentages of the month left when they lost all of my data!! ZoneServ.com 12-31-2005, 01:13 AM Don't most decent hosting companies backup their servers daily? I would not count on that unless it says so in their website/tos/sla. Xigna Hosting 01-16-2006, 06:49 PM That's a bit late, don't you think? Not really, after seeing your company's name I felt like giving my opinion. Fair enough and a valid point, but also remember that if he had started a fresh topic he'd have been told to search. Cant win. ajchuck 01-17-2006, 12:31 PM Seems like their website is down. Whats going on? I canceled my reaccuring bill with my current host to move to them on 2/2/06 and now the site is gone. I am confused I guess. Xigna Hosting 01-17-2006, 01:29 PM I think my point is validated by the above statement. ^ :) EDIT: The site just came back up here :) ZoneServ.com 01-17-2006, 03:48 PM Seems like their website is down. Whats going on? I canceled my reaccuring bill with my current host to move to them on 2/2/06 and now the site is gone. I am confused I guess. We had a small outage, the main IP of the server was "stolen" by another server in the DC. The issue has been solved as quick as possible. I think my point is validated by the above statement. ^ :) EDIT: The site just came back up here :) So we had an outage, how come it's validated? Are we the only company who had one of their servers "down"? Fair enough and a valid point, but also remember that if he had started a fresh topic he'd have been told to search. Cant win. Heh, sad but true? |
