Down for me too. I know they've been experiencing problems lately due to storms in Arkansas (or so their website says).

BC said cold weather, but I haven't been able to access their site at all, i will try again today.

I just registered my long awaited name. But I have to wait a few more days after new year.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem reaching them. I was also having some trouble last week when looking up domains via them, it was giving me errors.

But then I went to register.com to check them out and that worked fine, so I knew it wasn't me. It worked a few minutes later.

oh, so that's what it is. i was wondering if they were getting so many customers that their servers were overloaded or something :) i had trouble with the whois too. It's intermittent though, it seems to work better in the daytime during working hours. At night I had more trouble. I've still managed to administer my account and even register more domains in the past few days though, so it is probably not a very serious outage.

Isn't Heavy Ice two words? :)

I'm lucky, I just got back from Florida last night. We had to fly to Raleigh Durham and catch another flight into Washington National. Our flight to RD was delayed over an hour and we thought we would miss our connection. Luckily, they waited for us and we got off, and it didn't even snow here!

Sorry if this is better off in General Discussion, but it seemed alright to follow up another post.

About 000domains, I think I'm going to continue to use them even though new registrars have come out with cheaper than their $13.50 cost. I have 8 domains with them and haven't experienced anything but good stuff.

I'm sure everyone knows this, but for anyone who doesn't...

If you can't access 000domains or your OpenSRS registrar go to http://manage.opensrs.net to make DNS changes, etc.

When I hit that 1859 mark like Chicken has, i will be an old man with a can, trying to read the keyboard. It has taken me since march to reach 200. But then again i would rather have 200 qualtiy postings that a 1,000,000 worthless ones, i think everyone here really post quality 99.9% of the time.

I think I mentioned this in another post; however, 000domains.com appears to be changing their IP -- so they may be a little rocky for a few days.
