I got one email saying they are going to charge 90 dollars a month.

Too bad for me... no more HC. But I think there are better ways. Maybe a little email, when i start getting 200 dollars a month maybe i will conseider it.

But hey i think they should charge whatever they want to, its their product. But the price will come down (I type in hopefullness)

that's insane

I am using them now, but I guess I will have to move to icommunicate .. 25.00 a month (widouth kbase)

I have to agree Carlos, icommunicate is a great program. I lacks the customer tracking through your site that Human Click has, but the customer support database it has is great. It allows you to keep better track of your customers and their support problems, and setting up the knowledge base is easy. I highly recommend this program.

Does anyone know of anything similar besides icommunicate? If anything, HumanClick Express is only $19.95 a month and I looked a little harder and there is still going to be a free version, although not a lot of options with it.

With free there always comes an added string. That's something I can't stand. I had a problem the other nite with SQL (a problem in which i find out I didn't open my eyes) and I have UnitedTec as a host and he is right it is alot simpler that human click, because if a live person is not there, then they may have a database that you can search without talking to a person, if your a non talktive person.

Yes, but I just cannot see myself paying the extra 25.00 a month for their Kbase .. tlc web enteprises has a great program (kbase) that takes care of that, and very competitive pricing, I was thinking in having icommunicate for chat only ...

No problem Siper, but I'll just mention that I found livehelper a long time ago. Since then, they advertise quite a bit now and they may decide to charge for things that were once free as well. It is just a possibility, but maybe by then someone will come out with LIVECLICK and it will be free for a bit :)

Carlos,

I agree, the $25 extra for the knowledge base is a little steep, but I like the ability to add to it instantly from a customer support ticket. If a customer submits a problem that you think should be in the KB to help others, one click ant it's there. Nothing like saving a little time.

A friend of mine and I began to work on a program similar to humanclick, but got tired of it and stopped working on it.

$100 a month is toooo much... could be accetable as one time fee for livetime.....
i will change to livehepler... it seems to be a very prof. program . Only the adm. inteface is a bit boring...

I think all this about paying for human clicks is silly. Once you get humans to your site, they'll click on things without being paid, won't they? And, for that matter, how did these humans get there without clicking in the first place?

I certainly never ask to be paid to click on things. This sounds like some sort of scam, to me. Beware!

Seriously, if my memory serves correctly, Human Click made it plain from the beginning that they would not remain a completely free service, and would indeed begin charging for their services eventually.

On the other hand, their pricing seems more than a bit stiff, to me.

If I were using it, I'd be looking for alternatives at this point. They're very likely to put themselves out of business...

Livehelper bought out Human Click earlier this fall, so if there is a price differential between the two, it won't be there for long.

I hear HamburgerHelperŪ is going to buy out LiveHelper...

That way, you'll be able to get bad advice and bad food in one easy stop.
