Hello all,

I want some ideas on a new name for my web hosting business.

I am currently known as The Web Makers. After the problems with StaticHost i want to restart my business with a new name, packages, host and website.

I will be just doing hosting as I already run a domain website.

Anyone got ideas please pm me or post them here.

I already have a small customer database.

Possible free hosting account for the winning name!

The Web Makers is a good name. What was the problem you had? Rather than run from problems, if you stick to it, and pull through it, it will show so much more.

I'm never a fan of changing identities to hide past problems.

i just had huge issue with the host and over 2 weeks downtime. I just fell The Web Makers dose not stand out and is catchy enough.

Well, with that kind of downtim, perhaps The Web Breakers is more suitable? :D

All kidding aside, go for a short name. I found the best thing you can do is find some things... Anything around the house, and make up some initials, like... GTX. Nobody needs to know what they mean, but stick Hosting on the end and you have a perfectly good name :)

What do you offer that's unique? I agree with the short name but it doesn't necessarily have to be zbchosting. You want something that sticks in people's brain. Something that says who you are, what you are and sorta rolls off the tongue.

we are unique that we will always talk to our clients as there a person and not just a number. We will always remember them and know them well and try do anything we can for them for as littile as possible!

I'm gonna send you a pm with a name suggestion....lol if it goes here, someone will snag it.

Personally, I'd take the one that starts with a g......run with the theme , maybe design the logo with a rising sun.
