View Full Version : Any suggestion about this domain?
I really want the domain http://www.nam.com for my personal homepage. Unfortunately, it owns by go.com network *Damn*. I want to offfer either buying it or exchanging it with my other domains. Any idea how to contact and negotiate the matter like this? I would appreciate any suggestion.
webfors 12-30-2000, 02:07 PM go.com is a pretty big company. Not sure how to contact them though. Try there home page and see if they have any corporate contact info.

Well, hopefully you'll be able to work out a deal with them.
etLux 12-31-2000, 07:34 PM http://www.BoiledSquidEyesFromNam.com is available.
Jeez, making fun of me, huh?
I know there are many other alternative ways, like namhome.com, namworld.com etc. as I own namnet.com, I just love that name, and I wouldn't bother if it is in used, but it's not by forwarding itself to go.com. Darn :(
CRego3D 01-01-2001, 01:31 AM naa, they wouldn't dare ...
what about http://www.dontmakefunofnam.com ?
etLux 01-01-2001, 01:42 AM I would never make fun of you Nam.
If I was making fun of you, I might have suggested something silly.
Nah, I didn't mind at all :).
I was wrong, the owner actually is http://www.digimedia.com, not GO. I emailed him this afternoon asking about it, but very little hope, wish me luck :).
Happy New Year,
etLux 01-01-2001, 03:36 AM Seriously, I think a three-letter dot-com name like that -- if they'll let go of it at all, they'll likely want some serious dollars.
Still, nothing ventured, nothing lost.
I have two a three-letter dot-com (no number), of course they're not as good as nam.com, but I'm willing to trade 2 for 1, still doubting if he wants to trade, may be he doesn't need money.
etLux 01-01-2001, 03:35 PM Just out of idle curiousity, do any of you domain-a-holics know what 3-letter (no numbers) domain names are going for these days? I've got about a dozen of them.
