I strongly recommend HostNetway (http://www.hostnetway.com)'s web hosting. They have had nothing but superb, uber fast support! I am on my second month with them and I love it! They have good pricing, uptime, support, and features - resellers get a Clientexec license for free! They offer many methods of support includind IM, forum, ticket, and email. HostNetway (http://www.hostnetway.com) is a 10/10 web host. :)

PCXFX, when you say fast support, how fast do you mean? How much time does it usually take before you receive a reply? (when you use tickets/email of course)

How did you monitor uptime?

they claim support will respond within 8 hours, but for me they have respond between 5minutes to 1 hour!

My uptime moniter:

I asked about the downtime show, and they had several reboots, which apparently take 15 minutes.

Their stats are located here:

That might be off as it checks only every 30 minutes.

Either way, kudos to HostNetway.

The 30 minute checks only monitor 48 minutes out of 1440 minutes (or 24hrs). A 30 minute check is good if you want to show this data to clients but doesn't really tell the story. However, it's better than nothing.

I would ask HostNetWay if they have any 3rd party monitoring service besides the free (30 min) service you have with siteuptime. Or just keep a close eye on things and use the "real world" monitor :)

Best wishes for your site & biz

I did mention that they have their own stats that moniters more frequently.

yeah that was a while ago, they moved datacenters since then, so it hopefully won't happend again.

so it hopefully won't happend again.DDoS attacks are a fact of life, so they will happen again in the future, but the hope is that the attack will be mitigated better by the new datacenter. :)

Hello everyone :)

Thank you for the review PCXFX. If you can believe this, our old datacenter purposely DDoSed our servers, yes purposely. The DDoS attacked would have never ended if we didn't change datacenters, and get away from the bad management of The New York NOC / X-Gravity (who is also banned from this forum), which already has a bad reputation here in the forums.

Anyways, so far we have no new issues since our transfer to GNAX about two months ago, and everything has been running smoothly since our decision to move. Sites such as Host-Tracker or Site Uptime may have saw some downtime due to important reboots we did, which it takes 15 minutes to do a reboot on either of our servers, however no customer has yet to complain of any type of network problems at all.

Anyways, thanks again PCXFX for the review :)

This is my 1,100 post :pimp:
