Is there any software, best if open source to keep track of my posting new postings and some other tools to heavy forum users that makes your life easier?

Aussie Bob 07-16-2005, 09:22 PM Not really sure what you mean. Can you clarify that? jcrespi 07-18-2005, 09:28 AM Let's say that there is an application that eases your life being able to show your favorite forums in a sort of menu and informs you when somebody has post in your thread and that kind of stuff .... I don't know like a tool to help you when you post in many forums... hopes this clarification helps KI-ChrisE 07-18-2005, 01:15 PM I think various forums give you XML feeds (I think this one does if you get premium membership) then you could get some kind of tool to keep track of posts via that I'm sure. jcrespi 07-19-2005, 04:07 AM Yeah that's what I'm talking about... anyone? dollar 07-19-2005, 07:01 AM Um any RSS feed reader would do that...but it would not make life any easier. I just have a toolbar in firefox showing my favorites from the "Forum" category that I click on to visit. owocki 07-19-2005, 03:31 PM Originally posted by justadollarhostin Um any RSS feed reader would do that...but it would not make life any easier. EDIT: Vbulletin offers Rss feeding. I still think it'd be much less hassle to use bookmarks though. jcrespi 07-20-2005, 10:10 AM hummmm a forum inside a forum interesting idea. |
