Hi All

After messing around, I still can't get it to work....
Here's the problem:
1. We have 8 IP addresses for our W2K Ded Server as follows:
xxx.xx.xxx.32 = unusable (network number)
xxx.xx.xxx.33 = gateway
xxx.xx.xxx.34 = server
xxx.xx.xxx.35 = HHN1.MYDOMAIN.NET (I registered 4 nameservers)
xxx.xx.xxx.36 = HHN2.MYDOMAIN.NET
xxx.xx.xxx.37 = HHN3.MYDOMAIN.NET
xxx.xx.xxx.38 = HHN4.MYDOMAIN.NET
xxx.xx.xxx.39 = unusable (broadcast)
I pointed my domain name to these IPs
over a week ago.

2. The PROBLEM is we don't know where to enter
these information on our server to get it working
when someone type in URL and it resolves to
them...!!!! Bloody simple innit?

3. I tried looking on the web but there isn't one website
telling you what to do not even microsoft
If you can help us, that will be great. : )

4. I will send money if you can tell us what to do.

Thanks

J Wong

P.S. Please do not suggest zoneedit.com as we
want to use our own name servers.

To bind these IPs to your server, try the Properties of Local Area Connection -> Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties -> Advanced and finally Add IP addresses.
For DNS servers, it must be in Administrative tools

A couple of questions.

1. Can you ping all the IP addresses from the outside world?

2. Did you set-up DNS on that server?

Let us know, I am sure we all can get you working :)

Ok, so you have all the IPs bound to the server. Have you set-up MS DNS yet?
