Ive been thinking about trying to get a webpage up sometime over this summer, and im wondering if anyone has had any past experience with http://www.featureprice.com/
I need some input about almost ANY past experience, good or bad, and although they make alot of promises on their page, I couldnt find any bandwidth limits (which cause some hesitation ;))
Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt suggest paying yearly in my opinion, you dont know if they will be there later on down the line. Then again i wouldnt pay what is it 200 something dollars when they dont set a bandwith limit.
This is on there website,
I have a high bandwidth website and will be using several dozen gigabytes of data transfer per month. Can I host with your service?
If you use that much data transfer, we truly recommend that you wait for our high bandwidth plans which we will release in the next two months. Until then, we recommend that you host your websites with companies whom have a high allowance of data transfer.
Ok then why do they offer 5GB of space ? If a webmaster sees that they are gonna think its a huge amount for there video/audio/.
Then again
Please note that companies offering "unlimited" transfer are very likely to shut down your website once they notice it transfers a high amount of data.
But then they say
How much bandwidth do you offer?.
Featureprice's customers are privileged to be offered an unmonitored account in terms of bandwidth. This means Featureprice does not pro-actively monitor bandwidth usage of our customers. Customers are entitiled to use as much bandwidth as necessary as long as they (a) do not harm other customers located on the same machine or on other machines of Featureprice's network and (b) do comply with all other terms & conditions.
Well if im not wrong isnt that the same as saying unlimited ?

I actually intend to get the unlimited space :o
From what ive seen they seem all right.. Ill have to look around and try to dig up some more info on them.
My main concern right now is the fact that they leave me with unlimited space, but then say I should wait for future plans if I actually intend to use that much space/transfer.
A clearer definition of "do not harm other customers located on the same machine or on other machines of Featureprice's network" wouldnt hurt either.
Ive never had a webpage as large as I intend this one to be, so ive never had the need for "unlimited space" and I want to really know when their going to cap my bandwidth if I pay for a years worth of hosting.

If i was you i would just start out with a monthly host and then as your site starts growing then from there look at your options, because what if you pay for a year of hosting and then your site doesnt need half of what you paid for ?

*UNLIMITED Megabytes of Web Space
I would never host with a Liar. There is no such thing as UNLIMITED WEBSPACE. Does this site own the web?
If you see the words Unlimited Bandwidth or Unlimited Storge............Id'e suggest leaving the site.
Another word used to get around the unlimited is unmetered.
Same thing. Either way........not the truth. Many of these guys should just name their sites scamhost.com.

I have asked them about their bandwidth limit and they said 12-15 gb per month is acceptable.
Be sure you read Feature Price's Terms of Service VERY CAREFULLY!!! They only accept annual payments and do not issue refunds.
From their TOS, " If client has exceeded 30-day money back guarantee period, a refund cannot be applied in any case and due to any reason."
Following is from a couple of exchanges I had with them. "You cannot simply make and order and then one fine morning say I want my money back. Yes sure you can say you want your money back only if we are unable to deliver to you the goods that we promise."
And if you don't see something on their website that your going to need, you better ask them about it before you lay the money down. "Assumptions that a feature is included in the hosting account while is is not even listed on our website and / or in our terms of service cannot be considered a sufficient technical reason for a refund request."
**Chalk up another lesson learned the hard way**
