I want to buy a Raq 4i but I want to put a bigger harddrive (and more memory) in it myself. Anyone ever tinkered with the insides and will a normal IDE drive work and just do an OS restore? Will standard SDRam work?
Also if you know of a good place to pick up RaQ 4's reasonably priced feel free to cough up the url :D

Hi Gary,
You can use a normal 5400 rpm IDE drive, and an 80GB drive will work just fine. You could probably go larger if necessary, but many have used 80's with success.
As for the RAM, normal PC100/PC133 nonparity will work.
Finally, on the RaQ4/4i, I will be ordering quite a few used 3&4's from one of my sources next week, if you want to tack on one to that order for yourself, let me know.
Thanks,
Brandon

Email me some info and I am just about certain I could go for at least one if the price is right :)
