 | View Full Version : Domain Registrar - Free Transfer? optix 03-30-2002, 05:06 PM I currently buy my domain names from selectmydomain.com ($12.95/yr) because they use opensrs.org which is a great management system. They offer free transfers to change the domain name ownership. Godaddy.com charges $50 for this. Do you guys know of any other opensrs.org company that sells for less the $12.95/yr? Remember OpenSRS is a wholesaler only. OpenSRS resellers are free to set their fees anywhere we want. Some will charge for a failed transfer - some will not. Some will charge a fee on top of the annual renewal required to actually transfer a domain - some will not.
