Time to get one more server.
I'm looking for companies that offer cheap bandwidth (under $2.5 a GB) and can place my machine in their data center. I'll start with 100 GB a month and it will increase by at least %20 a month. I'll need little technical support, probably just hard reboots when needed.

The companies I'm considering so far:

http://www.maxim.net/colocate/pricelist.html
$250 rack charge, $50 for 0.5 Mbs cap, setup: 0
total cost: $300 max possible transfer: 160 GB
estimated cost per GB: $1.86

http://cheapservers.net/
$75 rack charge, $320 for 160 GB(at $2 per gb), setup : 0)
total cost: $395 transfer: 160 gb
cost per gb: $2.47

Any suggestions for me or know other companies? Please post them here
Please do not include tera-byte, I already have a server with them, want to try others.
If your company can offer me a good deal, please send an e-mail to energy@energyhosting.com (because you can not post it here according to forum rules). I can refer at least one other client to you that will buy at least 200 gb a month.

thanks

I would check with http://www.valuetech.com/ they seem to have some very good rates.

Hi,

Cbaker, the owner of http://cheapservers.net/.
It seems that he's a good guy.
I think it's worth to try for.

Thx.

If you donīt need support maxim could be fine for you. Iīm with them for a few months and must say the network isnīt top notch. Ping times and put through are often bad from europe but seem to be o.k. from US. But they have their own NOC and 24/7 support at least (for reboot and such).
Another good point at Maxim is you can get IPīs as much as you got domains. This can be fine for search engines. But as I said, the network performance is NOT good. Sites arenīt "ligthening fast" there, at least not for me and some million others from europe.

I have a server with Maxim as well. I can pretty much say the same as Chicken "copied and pasted". Very friendly support - just remember to ask about any possible costs as I have been "surprised" a few times when I have upgraded. Not anything huge but still...

They do not have bandwidth prices on their site.
The charge $300 a month for a single server cage and $300 setup.
