Hes not the fastest, hes not the cheapest, but he isnt way over the top on pricing, and will keep working at it till its how you want it.

I dont know how busy he is at the moment, but you can always ask him.

"Best web design" and low cost typically don't come together. Great designers and successful design firms tend to know their worth. $5,000 is a common minimum for many of these companies.

I would have to recommend PixelPaul (Paul)...his site is www.pixelpaul.com and some of his work can be seen at www.pixelpaul.com/works/.

He's a pretty awesome designer, and he could probably do something for a decent price.

Although they're currently 'out' they make really good websites for very low prices. 100-200$ gets you a decent website

If you really want to save cash and know the basics of html, you can buy a site template from somewhere like templatemonster.com and customize it pretty cheaply. They'll customize it for you for a fee, too, I believe.

Just remember, like anything in life, you get what you pay for.

Yeah, depending on what you want, I wouldn't raise an eye brow to a price of around $10,000 USD -- if you're looking for bargain basement pricing, you're going to end up in the bargain basement.

FWIW, I doubt Ceonex would even consider a basic project at such a low cost of $5000. I know independent contractors around me who might start around that level, but certainly don't go much lower.

It's all about the sustainable business model. I could recommend some designers here, but they wouldn't fall into your price criteria for full-blown development engagements.

4design.tv are very good :)

Webrhino are also very good, especially with the flash work!

these two are on the U$3,000 range for full site.

for me its expensive but its a valuable investment cause they have very good quality.

ceonex.com is very expensive they are for bigger businesses.

if someone knows some other good designers please point!

you dont have to spend all that to have a killer web hosting site!!

this is for like more large corporate web sites

it really depends on what you want.
if entertainment business oriented, there are quite a few that i know personally.
if corporate oriented, i could probably give you a couple of names.
sites really shouldn't cost as much as people charge for them.. there's a difference between really building something worthwhile and ripping off the client.

I prefer to look for neostream.com :P They do multimedia and such check them out :D

www.2advanced.com - they're way too expensive, dunno how much they charge tho, but im sure they are expensive as hell. but phew.. their works are topnotch. :)

A company called OpusWeb does some pretty good design!

Go with WebRhino, you will not regret it, especially if you like Flash. If you don't then make sure you tell them and the end product will still be very good.

There are loads of webdesign companies, if you want the very best you will have to pay thousands for a site to be created.

I used to recommend webrhino.com but now we have used their service I would not recommend them again.

Okail is a great flash designer, but having spent several thousand dollars and not getting the project finished... not impressed. Got a useless incomplete site for the budget.

Worth spending the extra for a better, larger company IMHO.

Yes, this is one of the cheapest options once can find. But there are two problems:

1. You can get burned for a few times (by hiring unfair idiots) before you find your great freelancer who will do everything for you for cheap at high quality :cartman:

2. If that freelencer really is cool, he very soon will establish his company and become a "corporation", as well... ;)

In Flshkit one can find large listings of such sites as well and discussions on them.

I know some of the guys of 2advanced.com from there.

clantemplates.com is also a very good company if you need a professional (flash) website template. They aren't cheap, but aren't expensive either (their fee for an awesome custom template is between $100 and $500).

Yeah we're having the same experience with webprosys . We paid them thousands for a design back in late Mar/Apr, here it is going on the 8th month, thats right EIGHT, and we still dont have a site or fraction of what we contracted them to make.

Please, can a reputable design company save me!

"the best" generally would cost much more than $5k.

With the word 'design' - StopDesign.com comes to mind, another is SimpleBits.com but they seem big players. Try contacting them anyway.
