We are seeking a new collections agency for future account jumpers and wish to know any suggestions for companies you may have used in the past. These are for large accounts and cluster server accounts where there is a lot of money involved then just shared hosting. If you have a collections agency that has been successful in Canada and the USA that is even better.
This is not something we need to resort to often but when a large customer jumps on their account when service has been rendered they leave us no choice.
Thanks in advance for any links and suggestions for companies.
Regards,
C

Few good collection agencies are Global credit solution, Nationwide Credit Corporation and Collection Company of America. Normally most of the reputed collection agencies don’t charge their fees or commission unless and until they recover the money.

http://www.olddebts.com/ is a place that was recommended to me. I do not have service experience however.

Approaching to a collection agency actually depends upon the size of your debt, if you have very little debt, I'll suggest you should find other suitable options to recover the money rather than approaching them.
You should avoid for seeking a collection agencies unless and until you've large debt lying for collection, as in some cases if the collection agency fail to recover the money, the last option available to the collection agency is in fact to sue you, inspite of their claim that they don't take their fees without recovery.
Overall it depends upon the size of the debts and the reliability of the collection agency you're going to choose.

This would indicate to you that there is a lot of money involved.
Going to a collections agency for anything less the 1000.00 would be a waste of time.

My cousin and his Baseball bat seem to do the trick for me. :stickout:
All joking aside what are your bad debts amounting to? We have a few here and there and we just right them off on taxes it is not worth the hassles.

Make sure that the debt collection agency you pick has the ability to submit claims online and also the ability to report to the credit bureaus. We find that people will pay a debt when they find that they have trouble getting a credit card, refinancing their home, etc due to the ding on their report.
Once they clear the account with the agency, then it's reported as "paid" on their report. http://www.olddebts.com is one that does this well.
This gives the debtor the incentive to pay you. Do be aware that you will not even come close to revovery on 100% on your accounts, no matter how effective a collector is.
