The right click stopping is quite lame, I must say, especially for a company.

I right click so I can open multiple windows. With the right click block, it does not allow me to do so. Also it's nothing more then a annoyance because if someone wanted to view the source of the page all they would have to do is go to View => View Source, and if they wanted the images go to File => Save As. So all in all there really is no use to it except as an annoyance.

I know raq4less. Right click protection does nothing really, since you can always just view the source code. I rarely see companies put them on their site, because, it gets quite annoying. Especially if a person is not web-smart, they will be rather pissed off when the might accidently click the right button and have a box popup. Quite unprofessional.

By the way venture21, on your packages page, since you already try to make your offer look more attractive by putting "12,000 MB" instead of "12 GB", why not go all out and put "12,000,000 KB" or hell, really make it look good, put "96,000,000,000 Bits"! ;)

I usually just close windows with "Right-Click" protection, but that just me.

I have seen this guy advertising on Fark before. I was thinking about signing up until I saw his childish responses to Ras.

The code was left on the site by mistake. It was inside the header function which was being used for something else. ( test )

I would suggest in the future a simple statement. I am not sure if your upset with your live in general that forces you to post as you do or if you just do not know how to say anything nice.

Nomatter how you look at it, Ras opened the thread to flame and I apologize because I must have hit a truth cord.

I don't think he wasn't trying to fool anybody. I think (at least I hope) he was trying to clarify the difference between 1000 and 1024. Again, no point to your post(s) other than to start a flame war...

This thread is disgusting. Its proving to me what I noticed when I first began to visit these boards. All you Webhosting representatives stand together, like a little pack, and almost attack every single customer that comes here when they stand up to a webhost. Do you forget the basis of business? They depend on customers. Look at it in this thread, everyone comes to stand up for the originator, and all these people run a webhost company. Your colleagues don't drive sales, customers do. If you treat them with absolutely no respect, and consider almost every post by them as "Immature" and "Childish" and "Wanting to start a flame war", you won't get anywhere.

If I was considered annoying, and my posts were pushing the limits, you know what a good customer service representative is supposed to do? IGNORE instead of firing back with stupid comments.

Ras, you've really lost it man. I myself have posted some bad comments regarding Hostexa (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41592&highlight=hostexa) but it seems that Ventrue may not be to blame at all. Anyway, this said, you cannot accuse me of being partial, or you could say I'm biased *against* him. And yet I read your posts and it really seems to me your attacks aren't valid at all. Like Rastoma pointed out, Ventrue is using common standards in this industry, there's nothing to be offended by unless you're really after him for an undisclosed reason.

I am just glad I was able to clear up that whole issue. The bright side of all of this is both of us have the change to help out those clients. I now own the domain name vehost.com so between the two of us we should be able to save those clients and I will be able to provide good service to that company going forward. With any luck Mr. Wei will never get into the webhosting business again.
