As it says its Unmetered. Meaning there is no Bandwidth limit just that your Max transfer is limited to 20Mps. Roy@ENHOST 07-11-2005, 11:43 PM does 20mbps equate to 10TB total bw if they max out their pipe 247? galacnet 07-11-2005, 11:50 PM 20 mbps means 20 Mega bits which equals to 2.4megabytes per second. So if you can really max it out then it would be around 6TB per month. GrindKore 07-12-2005, 12:43 AM Those are Cogent only servers, meaning all IP traffic is routed through Cogent backbone. They work well for a heavy-duty ftp mirror where you just need raw bandwidth capacity, but some people report poor connectivity. We have one of the P4 2.4 GHz 20Mbps for file storage and ftp mirroring, and to be honest I am not very impressed with the trace routes to our office. Otherwise, it can be a good value if you find yourself doing >2TB a month. |
