Were looking at adding an additional provider to our backbone, and guess what I was left with the daunting task of choosing :(
I have narrowed it down to cable and wireless or Internap.
Both are 2 very different providers, both are supposed to be awesome. Internap has a interesting patented routing technology and cable and wireless is single homed, but has a very positive financial history. So I cant make up my mind.

If anyone has direct experience with either of these providers IE is a actual direct customer of them, or has extensive knowledge I would appreciate any input.

I'm currently on Internap, and I would probley not pick anything else. (Although I have a server that's on just Qwest and it's almost as good as Internap but not there yet!)

Are you going to get Internap in Equinix?

No not equinix were going direct to their pop, not colocating.

I have cage space at Equinix, 300ft away from their backbone.

It's pretty damn good. I won't be switching for awhile.

My suggestion is Both companies

Add both.

Internap has solid technology, newer company

Cable and Wireless has large global backbone, top 3 possibly the larges after the exodus deal and is has a market cap of 9 billion dollars.

I like both
