I have had my client's site hosted with F5hosting since the beginning of January, 2002, and would like to report my favorable experiences.
F5hosting has been up every time I've looked. Their bandwidth appears to be good. But the best part is their technical support, which is excellent.
They reply within hours of any request, giving detailed information and/or solving the problem. I haven't had the usual frustration of support personnel not knowing which end was up; F5hosting is small enough that you get personal service.
They accept requests by email, on their forum, and via a formal "ticket" system. Their replies are rapid by each of these routes.
(This is a simplified description.) After spending months trying to make a DNS change for a domain name registered with Network Solutions (they refused to make changes and refused to explain why), I transferred the name to Register.com. After I changed the DNS names, the domain name still didn't work. I finally thought of contacting F5hosting, and they helped me fix the problem right away.
Later, F5hosting had problems with one of their servers (it will happen to the best of them), and dealt with it in a professional manner: they notified me to change the DNS names, but kept the old server up during the switchover. The whole thing was very smoothly done.
I first found out about F5hosting here, and my experiences so far are in accord with the glowing reports about their technical support.
