I have about 7-8 of my own Web sites and instead of paying to host each of them individually, I thought it would make more sense to go ahead and set up a reseller account and resell to myself (hee hee).
I need:
- IP's for most of the domains
- No transfer fees to transfer them
- MUST have Cold Fusion 4.5+ (prefer 5.0)
- Ability to install custom CF tags
- MUST have MySQL
- Aliases for DNS (ns1.myname.com)
- Fast server
- Fast network
- Daily backup
- Plenty of disk space
- Plenty of transfer
- Prefer no set up fee
and, of course:
- Low price
So? What have you got? Sell me!

There are many individuals that use reseller plans to host their own domains :) Since you're posting a request for hosting companies to reply, you should try posting it in the advertising forums, since hosting companies are not allowed to reply here.

Oops! How did I miss the "Request Forum"? It's there now. Please let this thread die...

You're on the right track in your thinking and wanting to save $$$$ by combining all your accounts under 1 roof etc. I get a laugh when I hear certian hosts who claim that the Multiple Domain Model like mchost/splashhost etc will die off and is just a cash grab.
They continue to promote their reseller accounts as reselling domains 1 at a time and think that model is the best for the customer. What a joke. It's evolve or go extinct. :D

I feel quite strongly about this because I used to have a heap of sites hosted under the crap business reseller model of "buy 1 domain at a time at a discount".
I still can't believe some hosts still push that model. I guess they're relying on folks being ignorant and not knowing there are better alternatives out there.
I then found companies like mchost, splashhost, diginode [VDS] and save a heap of $$$$ each month. I was paying near US$450.00/mth for all my domains and then I moved them all over to a reseller account for US$35/mth. That was a sweet day indeed. :D
