hi guys

ive been trying to get a godaddy turbo SSL cert on our Control panel

(not CC numbers or anytrhiung just so they can have SSL option

but when i use IE or an AOL browser its fine, but when i access though firefox i get an alert , saying can't be verified a trusted provider

ive sent emails to godaddy, but there support seems to have vanished off the earth as im still waiting from a query about 5 days/ last weekend

does anyione have any ideas the cp url if you want to check is cp.emagineservers.com

this damm SSL business is getting to boiling point :angry: :emlaugh:

When we started with a godaddy ssl in IE it alwasy had the worning that it was not a trusted provider due to i think they are not. Not sure what it takes to be a trusted provider but all our customers got this too

Thats weird, we got that error at first but that was because we installed the certificate wrong. But after changing the settings, we got it working. Firefox stop barking the messages.

jjst to close this one.

to let you know someone added the intermediate certificate wrongly, may have to think of getting new techs..lol

One of the problems of using a "chained" certificate, you are not alone having this problem :)

Hardly a problem, it doesn't take much to setup an SSL correctly with the chain cert as well.
