Hello WHT folks

I am looking to purchess a very cheap, very affordable laptop.

The only requirments are that it has CD capabilities and at least 1 gig of HD space. can be anything else...

I am a webdesigner and I often meet my customers at coffee shops and the such and we discuss what the person requires. I would like to be able to show them right there and then a few templates that I do as well as a few colors schems...so i don't need anything powerful what so ever...

I am simply posting here in case someone has an old junk laptop sitting in some old closet that they don't need and would be willing to let it go for lets say $100cdn or such or even services i can provide...

you may ask "why don't you go out and just buy one?". Well i can but as i said i ndon't need anything powerful what so ever and can't seem to find a piece of laptop junk in this forsaken city....also just ffering a chance to have someone toss out some garbage is all.

so I hope to get at least one responce here....and $100 isn't a limit mearly a suggest price range...

I don't know of anything in CA (your CA), but down here in this CA (California) there's a place around the corner from me that (in theory) sells $200 ones...

Their site is horrible, but if you click on laptop/laptop acc. you'll see they have something for $200. Might want to call them to ask what it is. As I said, the site is horrible. Maybe you'd do better elsewhere.

here in halifax canada it seems to be friggen ahrd to find just an old laptop...I had a brand spanken new one from dell but it got fried and refuse to deal with them anymore.....

but the links I will defintaly check out.
