I'm sure that many people have servers with eservers, as they seem like a great company with great prices, but you should check out their forums http://forum.eservers.biz/ for more info.

I think they are somehow related to tranxactglobal (DV2) which is great !!
They are the best

eServers dot Biz are partners with Tranxact Global. That's how they can offer the same packages and sometimes more/better.

eservers.biz is a pertner of tranxactglobal which not only offers their servers but also provides them as managed if requested.

ho247 and Sina, that is very true.

We are partners of DV2. Its nice to know that people on this forum are very imformative of who's who :D

The reason our forum is quite is because we had not publically announced it, as it is not ready yet, we are still working on many things. There are a few posts just to keep those that visit it something to read through.

Have a nice evening,
Warmest Regards,
Shazad

I think you mean "Joana".. me :)

That form flipped my head.. don't know head from tail on that form because whenever I asked for IPs from providers, they would assign me blocks of IPs and I didn't have to go through forms.. all by simple email.. Still waiting to hear back on my post there.. also still waiting on the server..6 days and counting..

I gotta admit, that form really confuses me too - I do think all I should have to do is this...
State why I need new IPs and how many I need :)
Then again I am lazy :)
Did pee me off when I filled it out and the person it goes to (don't think it is ebiz - think it goes to Transaxt or whatever) loses it so I have to re-do it :)

As for the telephone number... never used it, well actually I have twice and each time Imran picked it up so I cannot vouch for the music.

As for free fax gateways - nothing wrong with that. I use to use them until I saw the quality of the received fax - it was aweful!

Wild, do you have a server with them? Your main site isnt on one of there servers thats all....

WildWayz

yes I do :)

www.insomnia-webhosting.com is on ServerHost.
www.insomni******upport.com is on my eServer's server.

So if the main hosting site goes down, then people can still access the site for support.

I thought you just co-located with DV2.

Erm... also i rang your phone number listed upon your website (which happens to be a mobile number (great!!), your fax number is providedby a free fax to email gateway) and I got balsted by indian music, that sounded like it was recorded on your answerphone provided by your mobile company (07810)).

Can you explain this please?

Im not trying to be bitchy, im really interested with going with your firm but things just dont click real well.

Basically I get the feeling that your indians trading on mobiles, which is worse than a Delboy. Your companies are not registered, not saying they have to be.

Anyways i hope i am wrong about this.

{Takes a deep breath}

Im not trying to bitch, im not trying to preach, i just wanna know if your a legit firm before we part our cash with you :D

Mobile Number eh... Yes everyone at eServers has a mobile number is there a problem with that, isnt it better that you get through to me 24/7 via mobile rather than having to leave a message on an answerphone?
Can you tell me where you heard the Indian music, (I am not Indian by the way), the mobile has its own answering machine, and diverts to a land line if not answered by me

FAX gateway, we prefer getting faxes as an attachment via email, rather than having loads of paper work. We have a fax number which we give to clients if they are having problems.

Indians trading on mobiles? You, sure have a WILD imagination.

As, for the IP form, we expect out clients to have some knowledge of server related issues, how can one take up an unmanaged dedicated server, when they dont know what a subnet is? (no offense to anyone who dosent know)

Not trying to BITCH, try pulling that over someone else ;)

You're emailing us asking for quotes and questions, which we reply to promptly, yet to turn here, which we tend not to keep an eye on and expect us to reply to posts here, when we have clients waiting for services from us, our clients come first.

Kind Regards
Imran

We have a server with eServers.biz and we love it! Their network speed is very fast. Even though we're in Sweden, sometimes when I browse through our website, I feel like I'm loading it from my own harddrive (well, mod_gzip has has helped a little too :D)..

As far as support goes, they have been extremely helpfull to us. They seem like very nice people with a lot of knowledge and care for their customers.

{additional note, after chatting with cabal it seems that some one somewhere along the lines has made a typo, the trailing 8 is in fact a 7 - this explains the phone query}

heh, i was going off what was posted in ur forum, i agree with what you say, maybe make it a bit more friendly though huh ;)

many appoligies
